OzTREKK JCU Dental School Orientation

Things went well in Cairns for the 2015 OzTREKK Orientation activities for new JCU Dental School students. The weather was beautiful and typical for Cairns: downpour, sun, downpour, sun… even still, the students had a great time!

All JCU Dentistry students turned out in full force. The bus stop location at Cairns campus was moved only one and a half weeks prior to the OzTREKK Welcome Breakfast, so finding the new bus stop might have posed a fun challenge upon arriving on campus (okay, so now where does the bus pick people up? Turns out, right in front of the dentistry building! No worries, mate!). Breakfast at Trinity Beach was gorgeous. All of our students participated in the OzTREKK Shuttle service, and the van was clocking up the kilometres, so it was great that everyone in Cairns took advantage of this service!

The OzTREKK Orientations are in place to make sure that you are well prepared, organized and ready to tackle your studies and get the most of your time in Australia and overseas! We are so happy we had a chance to be a part of this experience with you guys! Best wishes for your studies!
